NAMP: NeedleArts Mentoring Program

NAMP | Needle Arts Mentoring ProgramThe Needle Arts Mentoring Program (NAMP) is a program of the Helping Hands Foundation (HHF) that was established in 2002 to create community partnerships that promote and encourage relationships between adults and youth — fostering curiosity, creativity and a feeling of achievement through the teaching of needlearts.

NAMP provides publicity, documents, start-up supplies, how-to books and leadership tool and resources for after-school programs, scout groups or other youth groups that establish a program locally. Supply kits are available for knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, embroidery, spinning, and weaving.

Since 2004, TNNA has overseen management of the foundation.
