When you join TNNA
You become part of a community of professionals who are passionate about the needlearts industry and committed to its success.
You directly access an extensive array of services and benefits designed to help build your business and enhance your needlearts skills.
You also have the opportunity to share insights, experience and friendship with others who have the same concerns, issues and challenges by becoming a member of one of a Business Section or Product Segment Group.
Business Sections
All members of TNNA are invited, at no additional cost, to participate in one or more of the Business Sections. These sections are based on the Membership Category and the type of business services an individual company provides. Retailers automatically become members of the Retail Section. Affiliate Members may choose the Business Section most appropriate for them.
The Retail Section gives a voice to this large segment of the industry and actively participates in the governance of the association, as well as in the development of programs and services.
The Manufactuferers' Representatives Group meets at each trade show and addresses concerns specific to their unique position within the industry.
The Designer/Teacher Section offers visibility to this valuable segment of the industry.
Product Segment Groups
As a member of TNNA, you have the opportunity to participate in one or more special interest groups, the Needlepoint Group, the Yarn Group and the Counted Thread & Embroidery Group for an additional fee. These forums, defined by product type, include all types of members (Wholesale, Retail or Affiliate).
Needlepoint Group
Comprised of wholesale design companies and retail stores, as well as other professionals that support this section of the industry, this committee is a long-standing and well-established group which brings new ideas and concepts to TNNA's Board of Directors for use in marketing needlepoint throughout the country. A forward thinking and positive-imaging group, members work endlessly to promote their products to consumers and trade through advertising, marketing, education and special nationwide projects and programs.
The success of the group is witnessed through the Needlepoint Galleria events held at each trade show.

This committee is an industry-encompassing group dedicated to promoting partnership among designers, manufacturers, publishers, retailers, sales reps, and wholesalers. Members are committed to working professionally in the yarn industry to create awareness and appreciation of the craft, to promote continued growth of the industry, and to develop a new generation of yarn consumers. The Yarn Group supports and works with other TNNA committees to ensure the needs and interests of Yarn Group members are met. Some examples of Yarn Group involvement include sponsorship of the Fashion Show, Silent Auction, mini grants for knit outs and the Needle Arts Mentoring ProgramSM. The Yarn Group also supports a consumer web site yarngroup.org — "Anything you want to know about yarn."
The Yarn Group is open to all TNNA members for an additional fee of $50/year.
