Can’t TNNA negotiate better hotel room rates?

Hotels, like convention centers, are going to get the highest rate they can. TNNA negotiates the best we can, but the hotels (especially in locations like San Diego) simply don’t have to give low rates. San Diego in January is high season for tourism and TNNA just isn’t big enough to command lower prices.
