I know our headline sounds dark and ominous, but we’re really talking about great opportunities not to be missed.
Recognition, attention, media opportunities . . . the best way to get noticed is to be noticed . . . The point is, one way to help your company be seen and remembered by your potential customers is by being recognized by your industry.
As your trade organization, one of TNNA’s initiatives is to help find ways to draw positive attention to our industry and our members.
In the past, TNNA has recognized individuals through the annual Tribute to Excellence in Needlework (TEN) Award. Selected by our members, the award winner is someone who has had a lasting impact on the world of needlearts by upholding the highest standards in needlework creativity, education, product development, and industry promotion. The TEN Award recipient takes his or her rightful place among the best and brightest of our industry.
The nomination form is included in your latest TNNA Newsletter. To go directly to the latest newsletter (members only), visit http://www.tnna.org/?page=NewsletterMembers
The deadline for nominations is April 20th!! So, if you know of someone who you feel is worthy, let us know now!
The TEN Award will be presented Friday June 10, 2011 at TNNA’s World of Needlearts Trade Show pre-show event.
This year, there’s another way to get attention. In partnership with Hart Business Research, TNNA is looking for companies to be recognized through the Business Innovation Awards.
If you’ve created a great new product, design, marketing program, store makeover, Web site, class or other service, tell us about it. . . so we can tell everyone else about it . . . and so on . . . and so on!
Seven companies will be identified for their achievements. The deadline is April 20th. There’s more information on TNNA.org and in the latest newsletter.
