In June 2011, at the NeedleArts Market in Columbus OH, TNNA will announce the first winners of the Business Innovation Awards.

This is a neTNNA Needlearts Business Innovation Awards w program, a partnership between Hart Business Research (responsible for the invaluable data gathered and explained in the State of the Specialty NeedleArts Surveys, and TNNA.

The idea behind the BIA is simple . . . Here’s a great way for TNNA companies to brag about the amazing and creative new concepts they’ve developed to help grow their businesses. Not only do the companies get their due acknowledgement, but other companies can see what’s been successful and be inspired to do their own "thing.”

The Awards and prizes take many forms . . . Of course there will be the listing on posters and plaques, and a winner’s logo to feature on your own company’s web site or in your store or company. There will also be prizes of cash, gift certificates and more donated by our wholesalers and designers.

So how can you participate?

First, read more about the specifics on:

Anyone can apply for a BIA . . . just email Jane at TNNA ( and give her the details. You need to apply by April 20, 2011 to be considered this year. Awards will be presented in all the product categories.
