We are so excited that Molly from Retromantic decided to stop by for a quick Q & A about booth displays. Retromantic won the Best Single Booth Award at the 2015 Winter Show in Phoenix. We asked Molly some questions about TNNA, their booth display, and to share some tips to help you plan!
When did you first exhibit at a TNNA Show?
The 2013 January show.
What is your favorite part of exhibiting at TNNA?
Great contacts and sales!
How do you develop the overall vision for your booth display?
It is based on the "look" of our product line, any new theme we have for our line for that show, and our history of developing a look, environment, and feel from the time we have been in business together in the past when we had a brick and mortar.
Do you incorporate your company branding within the theme and color scheme of your booth?
Absolutely! We are all about developing a brand in every part of our business, be it trade shows, our website, and even our work environment.
Can you offer some product display tips or tricks?
Always have a few focal points, texture, and flow throughout your space. If you have small items like we do, we rely on our Props and set design to draw folks into our booth.
What steps are used in creating a “welcoming” environment inside your booth?
Number one: being friendly, always acknowledging anyone even slightly hesitating by our booth, and hopefully making it an easy place to shop.
What one piece of advice would you give to a new exhibitor?
Make a plan ahead of time, set it up at home base as much as you can and don't be afraid of letting your personality show through your booth, and how you communicate with your customers!
