Business and Creative Services Saturday Night Mingle

Cost: $50 per person 
Are you a designer? Teacher? Tech Editor? Blogger? Come mix and mingle with your fellow Creative and Business Services professionals! We're taking over Brewcadia, an awesome arcade bar just across the street from the convention center! Food included (nachos, wings, veggie plate, etc), cash bar. Yarn Group Reception

TNNA Retailers’ Luncheon: The Power of Kindness in Retail
Everyone knows that customer service is one of the most important business practices for retaining customers, but how do you show potential customers that your store is ready to serve them, too? To help face the rising tide of retail challenges – online competition, rising expenses, and changing consumer expectations and demographics – join speaker Dawn Holley to learn about the power of developing a welcoming mindset and outreach strategy for new audiences. We’ll also leave time to network with your peers to discuss the challenges other shops are facing, and how they are supporting the needs of special audiences. You’ll leave this year’s luncheon with new friends, new ideas on how to grow your customer base, and a positive outlook for 2017 and beyond!

Speaker: Dawn Holley is the daughter of a rocket scientist and a gossip columnist. She has been sharing wisdom and interacting with all types of audiences for over twelve years, first as a comedian, then as a motivational speaker. Her career has also included Organizational Development, Information Technology Leadership, Team Building and her greatest role is as a mom to two amazingly tall and supernaturally kind sons.
