#MakerSpotlight: Wood House Knits

By: TNNA Editor

Are you ready for an all-new #MakerSpotlight? Today, we’re highlighting Wood House Knits! According to the Wood House Knits website, maker Jennifer Wood can accredit her passion for knitting to her daughter’s middle-school curiosity. After beginning to knit, Jennifer quickly realized it was not just a hobby, but a true adoration that led to Wood House Knits.

Tell us what makes your business unique.

My design style is feminine and wearable, with a touch of the romantic. I am known in the knitting community for my intricate lace and cable patterns. I love using cables and lace in all sorts of ways, separately and together.

Share a “fun fact” about you or your products.

I am now exploring color work so look for some fun new designs!

Share a favorite creative resource that inspires your making.

I love stitch dictionaries!

I work with Jennifer and am constantly amazed at her creativity and ability to make the complex seem simple - and usually in 11 different sizes!  So glad to see her featured here!
