Needle Stores of the World - Artisanthropy

#NeedleStoresoftheWorld: Artisanthropy

By: TNNA Editor

Boo! October brings us Halloween, chillier temps and beautiful fall colors... it also brings us the October #NeedleStoresoftheWorld highlight. This month, it’s all about Artisanthropy all the way in Cobourg, Ontario (yes, that's in Canada).

Describe what Artisanthropy does best.

Our goal is to provide locally made, environmentally conscious products at reasonable prices, delivered with a side of personal customer service. We do our best to source products that are made with a high degree of environmental responsibility, and that leave the land with as small a footprint as possible for our future generations.

What makes Artisanthropy unique?

We're not just a knitting shop — we sell embroidery threads and supplies, too! We also sell online and ship worldwide, maintaining a focus on Canadian-milled, natural fibers.

Share a fun fact about your store.

We are an independent, family-owned business. We launched online the very same year owner Christina Vinogradov's daughter was born ... 2017!
