Diversity and Inclusion Town Hall | Wednesday, June 19 | 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
Join your fellow TNNA Members for our first Diversity and Inclusion Town Hall on Wednesday, June 19 from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. A panel of members from across the needlearts community will come together to share stories, provide ideas, and engage in a constructive conversation on how to make sure all members of our community feel welcome. This will include sharing personal stories where members have faced bias or exclusion, and then discuss how every member of this industry, including retailers, wholesalers, designers, customers, etc., can work together to address these issues. We’re hoping to foster a sense of inclusion and belonging by appropriately welcoming individuals of culturally diverse backgrounds. Panelists include:
- Moderator: Stacey Trock, Stacey Trock Consulting
- Meghan Fernandes, Pom Pom Publishing, LLC
- Lucinda Iglesias, Mont Tricot
- Yvonne Opstedahl, Mockingbird Moon Yarn, LLC
- Dennis Rinkenberger, The Yarn Guys
- Board Sponsor: Courtney Kelley, Kelbourne Woolens, LLC
We look forward to an open, engaging and respectful discussion, that will support ongoing conversation throughout the Summer Trade Show. Additional onsite opportunities for conversation, as well as participation opportunities for members who cannot join in person will be announced shortly.
We want to hear your thoughts! Click here
