NAMP: NeedleArts Mentoring Program

Updates on the TNNA Foundation

TNNA is committed to providing support to the needlearts market and helping foster the next generation of needlearts enthusiasts. Through the Helping Hands Foundation, and its NeedleArts Mentoring Program (NAMP), TNNA has always provided our members with resources and tools to support their local communities.

To further aid our members and their communities, the Helping Hands Foundation was redeveloped into the TNNA Foundation to support all product segment groups and an expanded set of programs. With this change, we realized we wanted to take time to refocus and evaluate the role the TNNA Foundation plays in the industry. Currently, a taskforce of TNNA members are in the process of identifying a new Board of Directors to oversee the strategic direction and goals of the TNNA Foundation and its future as the charitable arm of TNNA.

NeedleArts Mentoring Program

As we continue to discuss the changes to the TNNA Foundation, the NeedleArts Mentoring Program (NAMP) will remain one of the primary programs of the organization. During this transition, NAMP efforts will be temporarily halted while we work to streamline and standardize the program to ensure its ongoing success and continued growth, as well as to determine the most effective use of time and financial resources.

TNNA will continue to provide updates to our membership in the coming months on the direction of the TNNA Foundation. The taskforce has many exciting ideas in discussion and I look forward to seeing what the TNNA Foundation has in store for the future.
